Cassi Creek: The
government of the United States has been shut down by a gang of fools financed
by corporations and robber barons and elected by intellectually deficient
voters.
Anyone with
at third grade education should recognize that government shutdowns invariably
harm the people whom can least afford the hit.
Yet, this disruption in D.C. is strangely attractive to the blue collar
and former middle classes. Those who are
not congenitally habitual GOP voters have been seduced into voting for GOP
candidates by a carefully crafted network of propaganda featuring racism,
anti-intellectualism, religious fanaticism, and pseudo-patriotism, the like of
which has not been seen since 1945.
The truly
frightening thing about today is the number of GOP/teavangelists who are lining
up to be interviewed as if they had done something of merit, cured a viral
disease, or solved the problem of world hunger.
Instead, their vacuous grins are about generating a government status
that is unable to fulfill its legal obligations. They are collectively village idiots who have
stumbled into power they do not deserve and cannot wield well. They must be purged from the government and
it must be done by the voters. 2014 is
too far away now. I have never hoped for
increased campaigning but that is what it will take to remove these fools from
the ship of state.
On other
fronts, we have closed the pool for the season and are beginning the process of
external repairs needed to market this property.
