After a week
of phone calls and other attempts to find out where and when, VA came
through.
Today, I find
out more about the PADRECC program for veterans with Parkinson’s and other
movement disorders. This will be a
telemedicine event using a bi-directional link. I’m uncertain where this will lead. Currently, my treatment consists of a
semi-annual visit with a resident rotating through Neurology, overseen by a
consulting neurologist.
I was hoping
to enter the research program for PADRECC.
In order to do that, I would have to be seen in Richmond every 2-3
days. Not possible now. The chance may become available in Eugene.
