Cassi Creek: This is
Labor Day weekend. Therefore, rain is
unwanted. Since midnight, we have
received 0.21 inches of rain in various small thunderstorms.
I have ribs
covered in a dry rub and holding in the refrigerator. I had planned to smoke them. The backup plan is to bake them slow and low
in the over in foil.
I had also
intended to trim around the house, along the driveway, and in the shooting
lane. That is on hold due to the rain. Perhaps tomorrow.
It hardly
seems possible that it is September already.
The leaves on some of the deciduous trees are beginning to turn and
fall. In another month, it should be
beautiful.
