11 March 2013 THE wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees

Cassi Creek:  Yet another windy night and day.  The winds began increasing in velocity and noise levels last night about sundown.  By this morning, we were recording 17 MPH gusts at ten feet above ground level.  The accompanying noise and visual cues peg these gusts at about 20-25 MPH.
The rain with this system is about 2 hours away to our west at Knoxville.  We will have rain by dinner.
The Pathfinder is in the shop for routine maintenance and to repair the climate control console.  Who knows when or how much.
North Korea continues to behave like a rabid dog.  They may very well decide to resume hostilities just because they can’t think of anything else to do.  They bear intensive monitoring .  We need a Carrier Battle Group nearby right now.  I’m not sure which CBG is closest or if the cold war with Iran has them all committed elsewhere.  We need at least one more CBG.  Two would be better.
