Cassi Creek: Clearing
skies last night dropped the bottom out of the thermometer. Woke up to 20 °F temp that has now rebounded to 34°F. Made the hike with Mike this morning. Dropped
about 5 minutes off the regular time for the round trip. It was cold, sun not yet topping the eastern
valley wall. Neither of us had much to
say this morning.
