1 January 2012 Another year well begun

          We’ve eaten well.  We’ve drunk excellent Champagne.  We’ve talked to friends and family on two continents.  We’ve avoided football games on television.  It has rained, it may snow.  We have nowhere we have to be except where we are now. 

          We’ve avoided falling bullets from the first and second rounds.  Now the third round is beginning.  Film at 11 PM.
