9 December 2012 Any way the wind blows

Yes, there is a lyric associated with the title line.  No, it is not critical to anything I may write past this moment in time.
Today is a transitional day, began sunny and bright.  Currently it is becoming somewhat gray, the temperature is dropping, and there are high wind advisories for adjoining counties’ segments of the Great Smokey Mountains.  The convection outlook posted by the Severe Storms Forecasting center suggests that there will be thunderstorms with some risk of tornadic activity.  The outdoor conditions have that uneasy feeling that leaves me concerned
Tonight I will serve seared scallops with salad and haricot verte.  I’ll use a ginger soy marinade for the scallops.
