4 June 2011 Ms. Informed’s big fat summer vacation

4 June 2011  Ms. Informed’s big fat summer vacation
“You can show your support for the Fundamental Restoration of America and the ‘One Nation Tour’ by making a generous donation to SarahPAC today,” reads a message on the SarahPAC Web site…”
Fred Wertheimer, a longtime campaign-finance activist who heads the Democracy 21advocacy group, said the Palin tour illustrates the broad leeway given to potential candidates as long as they don’t formally declare their intent to explore a presidential campaign. Once they do, they must form a new committee that adheres to regular contribution and expenditure limits.
“If Gov. Palin is treating this as a family vacation, then she ought to be paying for it with family funds,” Wertheimer said. “But if this is a prelude to announcing her presidential campaign, then she ought to have a presidential exploratory committee…”
Palin herself bristled at questions Wednesday about how the tour was being funded. She said during a visit to the Statue of Liberty that the bus was “our own personal motor home” and that SarahPAC was paying for the trip.
“Check SarahPAC.com,” Palin told ABC News. “I don’t know why in the world you would ask a question like that. I’m just thinking about America and our foundations and our freedoms and our opportunities.”
She added a moment later: “I’m not asking you to pay for a penny of this trip.”
Later, in Boston, she said: “You’ve got to know a lot about our past in order to know how to proceed successfully into the future,’’ she said.
Cassi Creek:
She is asking us to pay every penny of her expenses.  The entire trip is being financed by people who have been convinced to vote against their own best interests, financially, politically, and culturally.  Everything that issues from her social network sites and from her other equally ghostly utterances is a carefully staged scam to keep her rolling in the money of the gullible.  Her attorneys have found legal loopholes in the campaign finance regulation that allow her to misuse money that is supposedly contributed to a political campaign.  \
She’s not asking us to pay for her vacation because she has already found a way to steal the money she wants.

There have been many instances of the “trailer trash” label being leveled at the Palins since they were dumped upon the American public.  Somehow that hasn’t quite been the identifier I would prefer.  Many Americans live in “mobile homes” and are actively engaged in trying to scratch out a living in the sagging American economy.  The choice of dwellings available to them does not prevent them being hard-working, honest people.  The social and cultural backgrounds that they carry forward are not determined by domicile but by family ideology and history.
To that end, I’ve figured out something about the Palin tribe that has been bothering me from my first glimpse of them.

Equate the 2011 “family vacation bus

With this:

Factor in the rest of the “family vehicles” and you get something like this:

This relegation of childcare duties to older siblings

Is only a short step (and some surprised donor provided wardrobe changes from:

In perfect character, it is spring and the Palin clan has fanned out into the countryside to raise money.
The traditional mechanisms in the U.S. have included many scams such as driveway painting, roof mis-repair, and other small but effective schemes to milk the bank accounts of people who should know better but don’t.
Given the combination of Palin’s political non-campaign and Fox News policy of giving her airtime to spread her misinformation, combined with the gullibility of far too many Facebook and Twitter minions, she’s found a temporary gold mine.  She assumes a victim role, begs for money, and flashes a disabled child-prop and the gullible molt money into her pockets.  (By the way, what has become of the youngest Palin child?  Did the older siblings refuse to carry it around now that it is larger than an infant-sized doll?)
The Palins aren’t trailer trash; they’re Irish Travelers, the modern day expression of Tinkers who traded dishonesty and shoddy repairs against the poor education and misinformation of the lower class working public and the aging retirees of Europe.
They’re out there on the highways, running red lights and stop signs, speeding in residential areas, driving dangerously.  Stay out of their way on the roads and highways.  Like all Travelers, they believe that laws don’t apply to them.
They’ll offer you repairs to the government that they can’t deliver.  They’ll wave the Constitution in your face while using our flag illegally to advertise an appeal for money that has nothing to do with a political campaign.
Don’t believe them when they offer you a discount on repairs to your roof.  Don’t pay them to repair your driveway.  And, under no circumstances let them tinker with our government.
