Romney Fake $ 5,000 Wall Mart Food for Sandy Relief

Oct. 31, 2012  The funny thing about Mitt Romney’s newest trick or treat is that his Ohio Relief Fund drive is in fact a fake. Another photo-op engineered to make it look like Mitt Romney actually cares about other American families going through a disaster.
Romney’s campaign actually purchased $ 5,000.00 worth of junk food made in China from Wal-Mart and placing it in front of people who grabbed it pretending they were bringing donations for the victims of Hurricane Sandy on the east coast.”
Cassi Creek:
The desire to be perceived as a normal American citizen seems to leave Romney unable to figure out the approach.  Having sufficient personal wealth, he could reach into his accounts and fund the rebuilding of a small town from infrastructure to rooftops while never missing the money involved.  Alternatively, he could finance the installation of broadband internet hubs into every town in the impacted states.  Such a gesture would leave him a legacy much like Carnegie’s libraries, doing great good for the community.
Instead, Romney buys $5000.00 junk food from Wal-Mart, stuff that no one needs and that is frankly harmful to many people.  Even more damaging, the junk was made in China.
This is not the message someone running for POTUS should send to a public that needs every aspect of life in modern America restored.  Those folks will be cold tonight.  Even a cheap, Chinese made, Wal-Mart jacket or blanket would have been far more beneficial than junk food.
I really fail to understand how anyone can listen to  Romney speak and believe that he knows anything about government.  Government, despite the protestations of the GOP/teavangelists, is not a business,  It is a collection of services that are designed to enable the nation to function and fulfill its tasks; those assigned by the Constitution and those added later by legal means.  Failure to comprehend that basic information disqualifies Romney-Ryan from carrying out any governmental function.
