4 October 2012 Mr. Bill and Romney the greedy pretend to debate.

            Now appearing on a nationwide "debate," Romney emulates a pair of socks and ignores the rules of engagement..  This was the first Obama-Romney debate, held in Denver and moderated by Jim lehrer.    Lehrer has become too old to deal with the arrogance and insolence that Romney manifested last night. 
            The moderation was an absolute joke.  From the opening moments of the engagement, Romney insisted in talking over the POTUS as if they were both in some unsupervised classroom.  He ignored all attempts at moderation. From where I stand, it appears as if Romney never intended to follow the ROE’s

            Romney’s performance was a steady string of lies, tied to sound bites and designed to sway the minds of the mindless voters who are too unconcerned with truth to actually fact-check the proclamations Romney handed down as if behaving like a would-be prophet.

            Since most of his lies are tied to numerical and percentage totals used in campaign speeches; and since nearly all of the material misquoted or denied, is on the miles of video tape and hard drives used by the press and others who have documented this presidential campaign, it is not difficult to disprove his lies. 

            Unfortunately, beyond the Obama campaign staff, the die-hard progressives, and the flat-out socialists such as Gloria and me; no one really seems to care if Romney lied or not.  This election is critically important for the future of the U.S.  If Romney and Ryan drag the Teavangelists into office it will badly alter the potential for this nation to reach its next level of greatness rather than becoming a haven for theocrats and plutocrats who will sell off its resources and delete the opportunities for education that made it so great in the 20^th century.  To see the future of the U.S. under another GOP/teavangelist   administration, see Mexico and much of Latin America in the 20^th century. 

            Obama was of no use last night.  He tried to behave in a civil manner, resulting in a complete lack of involvement.  He spent the night nodding his head while Romney spoke; making him seem to agree with everything Romney said.  He exhibited no fire, no passion, and no anger at the lies being told about his administration and to the voters.  He deserves a2nd term, but another performance like last night will make a 2^nd term impossible. 

            We need him to defeat Romney.  The nation needs him to defeat Romney.  Someone needs to light a fire under his ass.  He is the POTUS; Romney is a liar who will destroy what’s left of our middle class for his wealthy friends. 

            Someone, everyone, put the word out now.  Obama, Act like a president, not like a clay figure being pummeled by a bully..  Win this election!
