22 May 2011 No excuses necessary

That is, of course, unless you quit your job, sold your house, bought a luxury car, booked expensive family oriented vacations to religious theme parks, or any other foolish gesture that might indicate you actually believed that yesterday would usher in the 2nd coming.  It didn’t, and you have to figure out why it didn’t happen.
In the meantime, your boss that you left short-staffed is going to demand some serious groveling before letting you return to work at your old job.  Expect a steep cut in pay grade.
If you can’t come up with a valid excuse that you think your boss will accept and believe,  I will be happy to help you with that excuse.  Needless to say, there will be a fee for such service; cash only, up front.
Finally, if such an event is predicted again, dog-sitting services will once more be available.  The service charge will be increased to $600/dog.  Places are limited so I encourage you to register your dog now.
