3 July 2010 Peaceful easy
We altered our usual habits this morning and rolled out early. We intended to go to Jonesborough for their farmers market. The market was not in operation today due to “Jonesborough Days”
The fall-back was the JC farmer’s market. We found sheep’s milk cheese, cucumbers corn, peppers, figs, and a rosemary plant. We left the market for Krogers and Earth Fare. We were home by 1230 and spent the afternoon doing nothing.
I cut the kernels off a dozen ears of corn and made a batch of skillet corn. I also put a rub on a rack of ribs and on some beef ribs for tomorrow’s dinner.
It’s been a very good day, as all days with Gloria are.
