tonight, Gloria and I found ourselves in RFK stadium, watching The Grateful
Dead. Sting opened the show and Bruce
Hornsby sat in with the Dead. This was
the end of the East Coast Summer tour for 1963.
End of tour shows could be problematic and lackluster. The 6-25-93 show was well played and was the
better of the two RFK shows that year.
This show was
the opening event in a very momentous and life-changing weekend.
